Dit is de conclusie van een studie van de psychologen Howard Ehrlichman en Dragana <sup>Micic1<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>De deelnemers aan de studie moesten dus synoniemen vinden, wat het associatief geheugen op de proef stelde. En uit de observaties bleek dat vooral complexe taken, die de cognitieve vermogens van de proefpersonen op een bijzondere manier testten, resulteerden in talrijke snelle oogbewegingen. Bij minder moeilijke taken, zoals het indrukken van een knop als reactie op een signaal, waren er nauwelijks oogbewegingen.<\/p>\n<p>Om hun bevindingen te bevestigen, legden de onderzoekers sommige van hun proefpersonen beperkingen op. E\u00e9n groep deelnemers mocht bijvoorbeeld hun ogen niet bewegen tijdens het oplossen van taken. Volgens de verklaringen van de deelnemers zelf was het veel moeilijker om de gestelde taken op te lossen. Bovendien konden 18 van de 75 proefpersonen niet voldoen aan de eis hun ogen niet te bewegen tijdens het werken aan de vraag. Ze deden het toch.<\/p>\n<p>Het ligt voor de hand dat oogbewegingen en cognitieve processen nauw met elkaar verbonden zijn. De onderzoekers concludeerden dat snelle oogbewegingen de informatiestroom en daarmee de samenwerking tussen de linker- en rechterhersenhelft optimaliseren. Het actief opwekken van dit proces wordt ook wel <a title=\"Rapid Eye Movement Stimulatie\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/basisprincipes-van-het-gebruik-van-emdr-in-coaching-met-de-remstim-3000\/rapid-eye-movement-stimulatie\/\">bilaterale hemisferische stimulatie of snelle oogbewegingsstimulatie<\/a> genoemd.<\/p>\n<h2>Zelfcoaching met snelle oogbewegingen dankzij EMDR-apparaat REMSTIM 3000<\/h2>\n<p>De resultaten komen overeen met de ervaring van gebruikers van <a title=\"Rapid Eye Movement Stimulatie\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/basisprincipes-van-het-gebruik-van-emdr-in-coaching-met-de-remstim-3000\/rapid-eye-movement-stimulatie\/\">Rapid Eye Movement Stimulatie<\/a>, maar dan omgekeerd. Dit komt doordat snelle oogbewegingen niet alleen worden waargenomen als gevolg van verhoogde mentale prestaties, maar actief worden gebruikt om de eigen mentale en emotionele geheugenprestaties regelmatig bewust te verbeteren door middel van zelfge\u00efnduceerde snelle oogbewegingen.<\/p>\n<p>Deze verbanden zijn al meer dan 20 jaar bekend uit de <a title=\"EMDR gebruiken bij zelfcoaching met de REMSTIM 3000\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/basisprincipes-van-het-gebruik-van-emdr-in-coaching-met-de-remstim-3000\/emdr-gebruiken-bij-zelfcoaching-met-de-remstim-3000\/\">EMDR-coaching<\/a>.
