{"id":18850,"date":"2013-07-14T15:41:56","date_gmt":"2013-07-14T15:41:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/remstim.de\/emdr-in-therapie\/"},"modified":"2023-09-14T16:18:23","modified_gmt":"2023-09-14T16:18:23","slug":"emdr-in-therapie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/emdr-in-therapie\/","title":{"rendered":"EMDR in therapie"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Wanneer het verwerkingssysteem van onze hersenen faalt<\/h1>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3670\" src=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/EMDR-Eye-Movement-Desensitization-and-Reprocessing_4-e1514927427376.jpg\" alt=\"Therapie met EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing\" width=\"297\" height=\"198\">Mensen schijnen een informatieverwerkend systeem in de hersenen te hebben dat tot taak heeft stressvolle ervaringen zodanig te verwerken dat de geestelijke gezondheid niet negatief wordt be\u00efnvloed. Wanneer een persoon stressvolle of onaangename ervaringen meemaakt, gaat hij of zij er meestal intensief mee om, en praat of droomt er vaak over. Dit gaat door totdat de ervaring niet langer verontrustend is en er dus een staat van aanpassing is opgetreden. Samen met adequate gevoelens worden deze ervaringen opgeslagen in de hersenen, zodat deze informatie op een later tijdstip kan worden teruggehaald. De ongepaste gewaarwordingen die tijdens de gebeurtenis opkwamen, de valse overtuigingen over onszelf en de bijbehorende lichamelijke emoties worden in deze vorm van verwerking losgelaten en uitgezocht.<\/p>\n<p>In bijzonder traumatische en stressvolle situaties kan het verwerkingssysteem deze dienst echter laten schieten. Alles wat de getroffene op zo&#8217;n verschrikkelijk moment voelde, rook, hoorde of zag, wordt meestal ongeorganiseerd in zijn of haar geheugen opgeslagen. Op deze manier onverwerkt worden deze waarnemingen opgeslagen &#8211; vermoedelijk met behulp van <a title=\"Somatische markers vormen lichaamsgeheugen\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/somatische-markers-vormen-ons-lichaamsgeheugen\/\">somatische markers<\/a> &#8211; en kunnen ze op een later tijdstip door een kleine trigger opnieuw worden geactiveerd. Zelfs jaren na de traumatische ervaring kan de getroffene het gevoel hebben er op dat moment bij te zijn. Een dergelijke herbeleving, die duidelijk verschilt van een loutere herinnering, kan uiterst pijnlijk zijn.<\/p>\n<h2>Emotionele lichaamsmarkeringen moeten worden gewist en wat is ervaren moet opnieuw worden ge\u00efntegreerd.<\/h2>\n<p>In de context van een EMDR-interventie wordt deze opslag in het lichaamsgeheugen, die plaatsvond door middel van <a title=\"Somatische markers vormen lichaamsgeheugen\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/somatische-markers-vormen-ons-lichaamsgeheugen\/\">emotionele lichaamsmarkers (somatische markers)<\/a>, direct omgekeerd in de hersenen en de verwerking van traumatische ervaringen, gecombineerd met de gezonde integratie ervan in ons geheugensysteem, wordt zo mogelijk gemaakt. Tegelijkertijd wordt daartoe het informatieverwerkingssysteem geactiveerd en gestimuleerd.<\/p>\n<p>In de meeste gevallen wordt dit systeem in het EMDR-proces gestimuleerd met snelle oogbewegingen. De achtergrond hiervan is de vaststelling dat onze slaap gewoonlijk ten minste \u00e9\u00e9n of twee keer een slaapniveau omvat dat gekenmerkt wordt door snelle oogbewegingen, waaraan het zijn naam te danken heeft &#8211; de zogenaamde <a title=\"Rapid Eye Movement - het volgen van de REM-slaap\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/rapid-eye-movement-het-volgen-van-de-rem-slaap\/\">REM-slaap<\/a>. Volgens eerdere wetenschappelijke bevindingen schijnt deze REM-slaap bijzonder belangrijk te zijn voor het verwerken van emotioneel en mentaal verontrustend materiaal.<\/p>\n<p>Volgens eerdere ervaringen kunnen talrijke gevolgen van traumatische gebeurtenissen indicaties zijn voor behandeling met EMDR. Dit geldt ook voor individuele trauma&#8217;s op volwassen leeftijd, opgelopen bij ongevallen of als slachtoffer van geweld. Maar ook bij complexe traumastoornissen, zoals trauma als gevolg van kindermishandeling of oorlogsveteranen, kan EMDR vaak een verbetering van de emotionele ervaring teweegbrengen.<\/p>\n\t\t<div
