Waarom? Uiteraard hangt de lichaamsenergie van de <a title=\"Somatische markers vormen ons lichaamsgeheugen\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/somatische-markers-vormen-ons-lichaamsgeheugen\/\">somatische markering<\/a> af van de oorspronkelijke emotionele opwindingstoestand tijdens de desbetreffende ervaring.<\/p>\n<p>Bij het verwerven van een <a title=\"Somatische markers vormen ons lichaamsgeheugen\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/somatische-markers-vormen-ons-lichaamsgeheugen\/\">somatische marker<\/a>, die een nieuwe ervaring in ons <a title=\"Somatische markers vormen ons lichaamsgeheugen\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/somatische-markers-vormen-ons-lichaamsgeheugen\/\">lichaamsgeheugen<\/a> plaatst en emotioneel &#8220;markeert&#8221; en evalueert in de toekomst, heeft de oorspronkelijke staat van opwinding van het lichaam bij het beleven van de ervaring de beslissende invloed op de latere reactie van het lichaam.<\/p>\n<p>Wat wij ervaren wordt gewoonlijk ge\u00efntegreerd in ons niet-emotionele cognitieve geheugen terwijl wij slapen en vooral tijdens de <a title=\"Rapid Eye Movement - hoe be\u00efnvloedt de REM-slaap ons welzijn?\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/rapid-eye-movement-hoe-beinvloedt-de-rem-slaap-ons-welzijn\/\">REM-slaap<\/a>. Geleefde ervaringen worden dus niet alleen emotioneel ge\u00ebvalueerd; ook de cognitieve medespeler heeft toegang tot onze mentale hulpbronnen.<\/p>\n<p>Als we ons bijvoorbeeld in een bekende situatie bevinden, zij het onbewust, krijgen we in een flits een emotionele evaluatie van de relevante <a title=\"Somatische markers vormen ons lichaamsgeheugen\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/somatische-markers-vormen-ons-lichaamsgeheugen\/\">somatische marker<\/a>, die we vervolgens met behulp van onze cognitieve vermogens verder kunnen verwerken. Op die manier is het meestal ook mogelijk de door de somatische marker ge\u00efnitieerde reactie te stoppen en met behulp van ons denken een bewuste actie uit te voeren. Reflexen kunnen worden heroverwogen en vervangen door nieuwe intentionele gedragsstrategie\u00ebn.<\/p>\n<h2>Sommige ervaringen overweldigen onze natuurlijke verwerkingsmechanismen<\/h2>\n<p>Op een bepaald niveau van opwinding kan het echter gebeuren dat de indringende ervaring <strong>de eigen verwerkingsmechanismen van<\/strong> ons <strong>lichaam<\/strong> overweldigt.<\/p>\n<p>Zo hebben slachtoffers van ongevallen, oorlogsveteranen, maar ook slachtoffers van een aanslag een situatie meegemaakt waarin zij tot het uiterste werden belast, mogelijk zelfs met de dood bedreigd. Ondertussen is het lichaam meestal in een staat van extreme emotionele opwinding: een noodtoestand. Een verhoogd niveau van opwinding tijdens een (nacht)droom leidt vaak tot ontwaken. Na een succesvolle <a title=\"EMDR in therapie\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/emdr-in-therapie\/\">EMDR-behandeling van<\/a> de traumaslachtoffers, die hen van het trauma genas en hen weer ongestoorde <a title=\"Rapid Eye Movement - hoe be\u00efnvloedt de REM-slaap ons welzijn?\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/rapid-eye-movement-hoe-beinvloedt-de-rem-slaap-ons-welzijn\/\">rustgevende REM-slaapfasen<\/a> liet beleven, concludeerde hij dat er duidelijke parallellen bestaan tussen de<a title=\"Rapid Eye Movement Stimulatie\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/rapid-eye-movement-stimulatie\/\">snelle<\/a> oogbewegingen van de <a title=\"Rapid Eye Movement - het volgen van de REM-slaap\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/rapid-eye-movement-het-volgen-van-de-rem-slaap\/\">REM-slaap<\/a> en de bewust ge\u00efnitieerde snelle oogbewegingen in de waaktoestand tijdens een <a title=\"Hoe werkt EMDR?\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/hoe-werkt-emdr\/\">EMDR-interventie<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\n<p>Als de integratie in het cognitieve geheugen niet plaatsvindt, heeft de emotionele ervaringsherinnering geen cognitieve partner voor deze specifieke gebeurtenis. Als gevolg daarvan kunnen in soortgelijke situaties heftige lichamelijke reacties optreden, omdat de <a title=\"Somatische markers vormen ons lichaamsgeheugen\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/somatische-markers-vormen-ons-lichaamsgeheugen\/\">somatische marker<\/a> zijn emotionele evaluatie ongefilterd doorgeeft.<\/p>\n<p>Vanuit evolutionair oogpunt, namelijk het verzekeren van het voortbestaan van elk levend wezen, is een dergelijke reactie zinvol. Zo zou een sterke emotionele reactie met even sterk waargenomen lichamelijke sensaties moeten waarschuwen voor soortgelijke situaties. Niettemin leiden dergelijke uitbundige emotionele lichaamsmerken niet zelden tot <a title=\"Zelf mentale blokkades oplossen met EMDR en de REMSTIM 3000\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/toepassingsgebieden-van-emdr-in-coaching\/zelf-mentale-blokkades-oplossen-met-emdr-en-de-remstim-3000\/\">mentale blokkades<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Vaak ervaren mensen dit soort krachtige en tegelijkertijd onaangename lichaamsreacties in momenten van <a title=\"Angst: een overzicht\" href=\"https:\/\/remstim.com\/nl\/angst-een-overzicht\/\">angst<\/a>.<br \/>\n\t\t<div
