EMDR Light Glasses as a self coaching device creates new emotional and mental power
The REMSTIM 3000 uses a visual stimulus in the form of a light signal moving back and forth to guide the user to make rapid eye movements in an EMDR Self Coaching session. Thus, the REMSTIM 3000 can be described as EMDR light goggles. Certainly also because the REMSTIM 3000 is worn like a pair of glasses during an EMDR self-help session. At the moment of intervention during a self-coaching session, the user needs to start an EMDR intervention sequence by means of rapid eye movements only with a light finger tap on the start button. Due to the rapid back and forth movements of the eyes, the phase is also called Rapid Eye Movement Stimulation. While awake, it simulates the eye movements familiar from rem sleep. They are said to play a particularly restorative and daytime processing role during the night’s rest. A rested awakening in the morning is usually the result. EMDR Music in Coaching
In addition to visual stimulation through EMDR light goggles, auditory signals are also possible. Both visual and auditory stimulation, in addition to a tactile manner, belong to the so-called bilateral hemispheric stimulation. In auditory stimulation, the coachee uses a special music composed specifically for this purpose.
Through headphones, the user listens to relaxing sounds that are accompanied by tones that constantly switch back and forth between the right and left ear.
