Enduring stress for too long is unnecessary and does little good. There’s just nothing more to it than feeling worse and worse. In many cases, most people drag their mental and emotional burdens around for far too long without doing anything about it. Surveys show that few people know how to cope with stress, feelings of apprehension, or lower performance; and so most endure their stressful emotions stoically.
